Baxters Grille
About
This no-frills counter establishment serves the kind of straightforward American fare that fuels a college town—eggs cooked to order, burgers that don't apologize for their simplicity, and coffee that arrives in a proper diner mug. The space likely retains the worn-in character of a place built to feed people quickly and affordably, where regulars claim their usual seats and the kitchen runs with practiced efficiency. Breakfast runs all day because that's what diners do, and the pie case probably holds the day's specials that justify lingering over a second cup.
